Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Steven Gerald.I just came about your email address and your brief profile through an email listing affiliated with the US Chamber of Commerce and I would be very interested in offering you a part-time paying job in which you could earn alot.I just resigned my job as a research scientist for AGREN(Agricultural Research and entension network,(www.odi.org.uk/agren) but I still work as a freelance consultant for the instistute which gives me very much time to do my own work which is basically being a freelance researcher who could be employed by research institutes to do research projects anywhere in the world.WHAT YOU NEED TO DO FOR US? Presently, I have just been granted a funding to head a research project in the tropical regions of West Africa regarding rare and vunerable plant species and this would be commencing very soon, However my funding were by my American counterparts which sent me the bunch of payments mostly in US based money orders. By that time, you've wired the money via Western Union.|||Total scam.|||It's a scam They will send you a check that you will deposit. The deposit will clear initially. You will send them 90% as agreed. Weks later, the bank will discover it's a bad check. You will have to pay the bank the 90% that you sent them. It's a scam.

It starts off with Dear Sir/Madam. If it was on the up and up, they know whether you were male or female instead of guessing, plus the fact they want to deal with money orders from Western Union.

NEVER respond to these types of e-mails..|||Yes, I have received such mails.

It is best to ignore them completely.|||i get them too -- i don't even read it. a "too-good-to-be-true" job would require qualifications and not select some random people on the internet -- what if the user was a 13-year-old? would that qualify him/her? anybody can lie over the internet. i wouldn't even purchase anything over the internet -- the integrity has gone to shreds.|||Yes, it's one of the latest phishing techniques to try to get your banking information so they can steal your money, your identity, or both....

Delete it and do not respond....|||hmm .. even if i had i wudnt kno w.. its soo long ..|||can you spell SCAM- its a S-C-A-M|||OH YEA! get them all the time and they all scams. I would ignore them.
