I recently asked a question about financial aid covering the expensive out ofstate tuition. I am an adult. I just moved from tennessee to florida and will be a transfer student at Indian River College in Florida. The out of state tuition is very high. I have stafford loans and pell grant. Will that be enough to cove the cost until I become a florida resident after one year. I am a junior and would really like to finish my career. I have very limited money since I was displaced by the storms in the Tennessee region.|||Those two states participate in instate tuition for out of state students. See if they have your program and school: http://www.sreb.org/page/1304/academic_c鈥?/a>
Federal aid will pay wherever you go as long as the school accepts federal aid but as it is more expensive out of state it will not cover as much so you will need to take out more loans.|||You should be able to cover your fees and stuff as long as you remain at the minimum coursework for full time student (usually 12 credit hours). Try to borrow books from classmates or college libary whenever you can. You might want to also consider renting an apartment in the college's district, for that will make the whole process of attending college a lot cheaper. And it is certainly a lot roomier than a dorm.
