I feel a bit depressed because of my race/ethnicity, just what is so good about being an Indian guy (India)?

Usually the stereotypes associated with us include having bad Indian accents and running 711 stores. I live in the deep south and most of the times I have been picked on down here for being Indian, don't see how the rest of the US will be any different (I recently finished high school, going to community college down here and then transferring to a University outside of this region).





Whenever I go online I always hear that girls don't like Indian guys because we are ugly, we smell bad and we are nerdy and have bad accents, also that our parents don't want us dating outside of our own race. I recently asked out a girl who was non-Indian and she said "sorry, I don't like my relationships arranged".





I just feel so downed, people here in the deep south never even gave me a chance because of my race and I don't what is so good about being an Indian guy. Black and White guys get to date all types of girls across the world but not us Indian guys, it is like sometimes I feel girls in almost every country from America to Brazil will turn me down just because I am Indian.





Just what is so good about being an Indian guy anyways?|||I'm dating an Indian guy. We don't all think you're bad, in fact, quite a few girls find Indian guys exotic.





As for your question: The food. Oh my good God is Indian food AMAZING, and I'm always so jealous that you Indian guys get to eat it all the time lol :P





As for the girl who said America is a continent, NORTH America is a continent. America (the U.S.) is a country. North America encompasses Mexico as well as Canada, and they sure aren't part of America.|||personally, i think Indian guys are hottt and more funny. They don't seem to be the type to be full of themself but are proud of who they are and a lot of girls like that. so be proud dude :)...i also see them being a lot more gentlemen like to girls as well..maybe its how they were raised..|||The guy who I look up to most is an Indian guy.





Everything about being Indian is good, just like how everything about being white is good.





Just be proud, and know that most people actually aren't judging you.|||I have a great mate who's Indian and she's really cool.

Nothing wrong with your race at all I don't think. I'd never not give somebody a chance as a mate because of their race that just sucks :/





I'm white and I've not had trouble feeling out of place but that sounds like it's tough.


Don't let people get you down - be proud of your looks! There's was a guy who was a model from India around where I live and he was gorgeous so that's not true about Indian guys being ugly.
